2026 AGM & Member Social
Our 2026 annual general meeting and member social takes place Wednesday, April 15, in the Mt. Begbie Room of the Regent Hotel. We’ll kick things off with the AGM from roughly 6-7 p.m., and we’ll follow it up our member social. Come out to learn what your association accomplished in 2026, what we have planned for 2026, elect directors, meet your fellow cyclists, and sign up to volunteer.
President and Director Elections
At the AGM, We will be holding elections for President, Treasurer, and five directors at large.
President
The President provides strategic oversight for the RCA and chairs our board meetings. They work closely with the Executive Director on advocacy and key communications. One current board member intends to run for President. If you would like to put your name forward, please let us know us by Monday, March 23.
Jacqueline Gallagher is our lone candidate for President. She has served as Membership Director on the RCA Board for nearly four years. She led the transition to the Hivepass platform, strengthening the RCA's connection with its community, and has supported the Executive Director's performance review process for three seasons.
She brings over 15 years of leadership experience and currently holds a senior role at a global technology company. She has an undergraduate degree in Public Relations and an MBA in Executive Management. Active in non-profits since 2009, she is passionate about community, sustainability, and growing cycling in Revelstoke.
Treasurer
The Treasurer provides financial oversight of the RCA. They work with the Executive Director to create the budget and review monthly financial statements. Our incumbent Treasurer intends to run for re-election. Please reach out if you’re interested in this role.
Directors-at-large
DALs volunteer in various capacities depending on their skills and interest, while also attending board meetings and providing oversight of the RCA. We are holding elections for five or six directors-at-large (depending on the results of Presidential elections). Two incumbents are standing for re-election, which means we have openings for three people on the board. Among the areas we’re looking for help are:
Event organization
Marketing and communications
Graphic design and social media
Project management, particularly RFP and contract creation
Sustainable trail design and construction
Advocacy and stakeholder engagement
Legal

Sol Mountain Lodge Trip Giveaway
