The Revelstoke Cycling Association is proud to present the very first Iron Horse XC—a grassroots cross-country mountain bike race designed to bring the riding community together!

This approachable, fun-focused race invites riders of all levels to come out and test their legs on some of Revelstoke’s best trails. Whether you're new to racing or chasing a podium, the Iron Horse XC invites riders from near and far to have a great day on their bike. Simple as that.

  • Low pressure, big fun: Perfect for first-time racers and seasoned XC riders alike.

  • Community vibes: Ride, race, and connect with Revelstoke’s amazing cycling community.

  • Support local trails: All proceeds go back to the Revelstoke Cycling Association to support trail maintenance and development.

Costs:
$30 for RCA members (they’ll get a $10 discount code through Hivepass, our membership app)
$40 for non-members

Categories:

  • Youth + Adults — Beginner | Intermediate | Expert

  • E-Bike Category —Adults only, two laps

Course Format:
 A fast, flowy lapped course means there's a distance for everyone:

  • Beginner: 1 lap

  • Intermediate: 2 laps

  • Expert: 3 laps

  • eBikes: 2 laps

The course will be released closer to race day. Each lap will be roughly 10 km.

  • Membership is not required, but members get a $10 entry discount.

  • No. Because this is a club event, the RCA covers the event insurance. This is not personal liability insurance, however, so all users are participating at their own risk.

  • If you register online but just can’t make the race we have the following registration policy:

    100% back* – Up to one week before the registration cut off.

    50% back* – During the last week of registration.

    No refunds – After registration closes.

    *this does not include CCN fees. CCN fees will not be refunded.
