Iron Horse XC
The Revelstoke Cycling Association is proud to present the second annual Iron Horse XC—a grassroots cross-country mountain bike race designed to bring the riding community together!
This approachable, fun-focused race invites riders of all levels to come out and test their legs on some of Revelstoke’s best trails. Whether you're new to racing or chasing a podium, the Iron Horse XC invites riders from near and far to have a great day on their bike. Simple as that.
Low pressure, big fun: Perfect for first-time racers and seasoned XC riders alike.
Community vibes: Ride, race, and connect with Revelstoke’s amazing cycling community.
Support local trails: All proceeds go back to the Revelstoke Cycling Association to support trail maintenance and development.
Revelstoke Bike Fest
The purpose of Revelstoke Bike Fest is to showcase Revelstoke’s vibrant bike scene to both spectators and riders through an inclusive and dynamic event that celebrates all styles of riding, fosters community connections, and promotes Revelstoke as a premier biking destination.

The Revelstoke Women’s Enduro returns for its eighth edition.

Dig Day #1
Our first Dig Day of the season is coming right up on Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m!
We'll be heading out to Sunnyside to fix some wet spots, smooth out some brake bumps, and add in some fun new features. Dana Wacker and Jayden La Dru will lead the way, and provide instructions and guidance to everyone. After, we'll head to our sponsor The Village Idiot for some apres.
We'll provide all the tools, but come prepared to get sweaty and dirty. Wear solid shoes or boots, long pants, and good work gloves.
RCA AGM & Membership Night
Our 2026 AGM and Membership Night will take place at the Regent Hotel on Wednesday, April 15, at 6 p.m.
You'll hear from the board about what we accomplished in 2025 and what we have planned for 2026. You'll get a chance to ask us any questions you have about the association. We will then hold elections for seven new directors, including President, Treasurer, and five directors-at-large.
You’ll be able to enjoy a beverage or two while you're at it and get hyped for the mountain bike season.

Revelstoke Women's Enduro
The Revelstoke Women’s Enduro presented by Juliana Bicycles!
Each September, we bring together approximately 180 women to ride, race, and have a great time. We believe in camaraderie, challenging yourself, finding your limits, giving back to the biking community and most of all, fun.
Cheer on the racers on Macpherson and Boulder.
RCA Fundraiser at Mt. Begbie Brewing
Mt. Begbie Brewing is hosting a fundraiser for the RCA on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 5-9 p.m. Join us for fun and games, live music, and more.
How fast can you go without pedals? We’ll be hosting the Revelstoke Run Bike Championship, sponsored by Transition. Kids races start at 6 p.m. and adult races are at 8 p.m.
There will also be live music by John Richards, a raffle and prizes, and, of course, lots of tasty Tail Whip for sale.
Did you know a portion of all sales of Tail Whip goes to the RCA? This collaboration between Mt. Begbie and Skookum has raised almost $5,000 for the RCA since its inception in 2022. At the fundraiser, $1 from every Tail Whip sold will go to the RCA.

Boulder Climb Trail Grand Opening
We’re celebrating the opening of Phase 1 of the Boulder Climb Trail with a party at Boulder Mountain. The event starts at 11 and the official ribbon cutting will be at noon, followed by a mass group ride up the trail.
We are honoured to welcome representatives from several First Nation bands on whose land we recreate.
Local bike shops Skookum, Tantrum Ride Co., Cycle Logic, and Wandering Wheels, will be on hand offering demos. The Lucky Pup food truck will be slinging banh mis, and there will be cake for the occasion.
Go By Bike Week
Did you know Revelstoke has the highest rate of cycling per capita of any community in BC? That data is collected during Go By Bike Week is hugely important for getting more cycling infrastructure built in our community. We encourage everyone to get on your bikes this week and track your rides. Not only is it great exercise, but the data collected will help make Revelstoke even friendlier for cyclists. Intro to Bikepacking Overnighter
IMPORTANT NOTICE (May 31): BC Hydro is prohibiting people from camping at 12 Mile right now due to rising water levels on the Arrow Reservoir, so we have regrettably decided to postpone the campout until a future date.
Join a group bikepacking overnighter down to the 12 Mile Flats. We’ll meet at Centennial Park and ride down the Flats to 12 Mile. This will be a chill ride that will hopefully set the stage for longer bikepacking meet-ups over the summer.

RCA Bike Swap
Come find a new set of wheels for summer or get your pre-loved bikes out of the garage and into a new home. Everything from well-loved townies to last season’s mountain bikes is up for grabs at the bike swap!
There will also be a small selection of new past-season and older-model gear and accessories from local bike shops available for sale. This is your chance to get a great deal and keep this gear out of the landfill.
We’ll have bike mechanics on site to make any minor repairs, but please only bring bikes in working order to sell or swap. If you can ride it to the swap, you can sell it!
All proceeds support the Revelstoke Cycling Association.
THE FINE PRINT: Commission fee of 15% of the sale price of each bike will be donated to the RCA up to a maximum of $100. Payment is available via cash, credit or debit card (money will be provided back to sellers via cash or e-transfer). Money needs to be collected by 2 p.m. and unsold bikes need to be picked up by 2 p.m. or they will be donated.

Meet at the 6 Mile parking lot at 9 a.m. and we’ll split into groups and carpool over to the trailhead. We’ll do about 3 hours work, then reconvene after for food and some prize giveaways.

The first Fiver of the season is a cross-country race on Mount Macpherson sponsored by Skookum Revelstoke. Entry is $5 and an RCA membership is required. The race starts at the Macpherson Nordic Lodge.

Skookum Pedaling Season Kickoff Party
Join Skookum Revelstoke for this RCA fundraiser. Group rides for all abilities will leave from behind the shop at 1 p.m. Then, come by Chubby Funsters from 4–8 p.m. for more fun, including a kids obstacle course, flat tire changing competition, a skinny competition, and more. A portion of all sales of Fernie beers will go to the RCA. Supported by Chubby Funsters and Fernie Brewing.
Annual General Meeting
The RCA's 2023 Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m, at the Knights of Pythias Hall at 201 Third St. West, or online.
We’ll share highlights from the past year, preview what we’re planning for 2024, and hold elections for new RCA directors. This is a great chance to ask us questions and get involved by joining the board or a committee. It’s also an opportunity to socialize with your fellow cyclists.
We have six positions up for election:

- Treasurer
- Four directors-at-large
We are actively recruiting a new treasurer and someone to help run our Fivers and other events. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a director and/or have questions about any of the positions.
