Trail Report: Friday, May 16

Check our trail report for Friday, May 16:

May continues to deliver amazing riding conditions, with periodic rain and cool temps keeping the dirt nice and tacky. Upper Boondocker and Bike Club are now accessible with only a few minutes of pushing through some snow on the road. It's only a matter of time before we can get to the top of Iron Lotus and Redecks. If you've tried accessing Ultimate Frisby, please let us know.

Our trail crew moved a lot of dirt and rocks this week, and cut out a few trees while they were at it. Here's a few highlights of their work

They fixed the landing and berm following the drop on Boondocker. This was a rough one but it should be now be smooth as butter.

They built a retaining wall along a short section of Sisyphus that was slumping down the mountain.

Bike Club got brushed and raked, some dangerous stumps were removed, and a berm was rebuilt. Per our crew leader, "Bike Club/Big Timber is the trail to ride this weekend."

On Macpherson, they removed downed trees on Super Happy Fun and Ridgewalk.

We're continuing to focus on Boulder, but if you know of anywhere on Macpherson or Sunnsyide that needs work, let us know in the comments or send us a message. You can also submit reports via Trailforks or the form on bikerevelstoke.org/conditions.

Our next Dig Day is Tuesday, May 20, at 5:30 pm. We'll be doing some work on Boondocker prior to Wednesday's Toonie race. Meet at the Snowmobile Club Welcome Centre to take part.
