Meghan Tabor Stepping Down as RCA President
We want to extend a huge congratulations to our President, Meghan Tabor, on being named the new Executive Director of Mountain Bike BC! Sadly, she will not be seeking re-election as President of the RCA at our AGM on April 15.
Meghan has been on the board of the RCA for over a decade and the President since the end of 2018. She has been a steady hand at the top as we've grown as an association. She oversaw major successes like the construction of Sisyphus, membership and sponsorship growth, and the expansion of our staff; and helped guide us through the pandemic and the development of Sunnyside. We'll miss her thoughtfulness, dedication, and leadership, but we're stoked to see her bring her experiences with the RCA to the provincial level, where she can support us and other clubs in B.C.
“It’s been an incredible decade serving on the RCA board of directors,” reflects Meghan. “I’m excited to see the energy and innovation that a new president will bring. As I move into my provincial role with Mountain Biking BC, I look forward to continuing to support the RCA in this new capacity.”
Mountain Bike BC has shifted its focus in recent years to sustainability and resilience of trail networks. We think Meghan is perfect for this role and we wish her all the best in her new position.
We are recruiting a new President. If you’re interested, email us for more information.
