Trail Report: Friday, Sept. 26

It was another week of shorts and t-shirt weather in Revelstoke, with the rain mostly staying away except for a brief downpour last Sunday. We've seen very little precip in the last month and as a result, our trails are still unseasonably dry. The forecast for the next week looks promising in terms of rain, but we've been fooled before so we're keeping our fingers crossed. As much as we love the extended summer, we also like our dirt tacky.

Trail crew was very busy last week tackling numerous small projects. As you can see in the photos, they were all over our networks, working on Macpherson, Boulder, and Frisby (sorry, no photos from Macpherson). They put in a nice little ride-around for the Valmorph (in case you decided to bail at the last minute), fixed up a jump in the Detention Centre, did some rock armouring on Bike Club, cut in some pre-emptive drainage on Frisby at some known trouble spots, removed hazards on Man Quads and Super Happy Fun, and installed a bunch of signage.

There's only a few weeks left in our trail crew season and we've got no shortage of projects to finish. If there's any specific spots you think they should tackle before the season ends, let us know in the comments or send us a message.
