Trail Report: Friday, Oct. 3
This week's trail report is a little late because we decided to go inspect conditions this afternoon to make sure we're bringing you the most up-to-date information possible.
We're happy to report that after a month or so of dry trails, we're back to riding tacky brown pow thanks to some decent rain on Monday and cooler temps. The forecast shows a bit of rain on Saturday followed by sunny weather and temperatures in the mid-teens. Conditions should remain primo in most spots and you can still enjoy some nice alpine rides while the rain holds off.
Our trail crew is down to its last few weeks for the season, so a big focus of their time right now is inspecting all our trails and technical trail features (bureaucrat-speak for anything made of wood, like bridges, drops and jumps). They also got out and fixed up Super Happy Fun, which was hit pretty hard during the Revelstoke Women's Enduro and Revy 50. Finally, they gave The Rooster a haircut and also did some drainage work on Sisyphus.
We hope to see you out for Sunday's Great Big Poker Ride. The weather is looking great and the trails are in fantastic shape, so we hope you take advantage of this to get out riding with your friends and explore the trails. The prize for the best hand is a season pass to RMR's bike park! Find out more!
