Trail Report: Friday, Oct. 2
We've experienced quite the mix of weather this past week. Some torrential rain last Friday gave way to pleasant weather over weekend, followed by a mix of conditions as the week progressed. The result is excellent riding conditions, though with the general cooler temps and shorter days, you can expect puddles to linger and roots to stay wet, especially in the forest.
The forecast for the weekend looks sunny and quite warm (once today's rain passes), with temps in the high teens, so it should be a great weekend on to ride bikes. It might rain mid-week, but the forecast models don't line up, so we'll see what happens. Either way, the dirt should remain nice and tacky for the foreseeable future and muddy conditions are a ways off.
Trail crew spent the shortened week working on the connector from Snakes & Ladders to Redneck's Revent. The work isn't quite finished, but pretty soon the project to fully rebuild this trail will be complete. The feedback on the work has been very positive and it seems to be coaxing people to ride higher up on Boulder. Let us know what you think in the comments!
