Trail Report: Friday, Sept. 5
The heat wave continues and our trails are dry and dusty, but still riding great in many spots. You'll find the best conditions on mellower, shady trails, and up in the alpine. Fortunately, there's rain in the forecast next week, but it remains to be seen how much. Lets all do a wheelie for wain ahead of the big Bike Fest events next weekend, but not on the weekend itself.
Trail crew was busy this week doing more work on one major project. They also did some brushing on Chair and the exit to Redneck's Revenge, and added some drainage in a couple of known problem spots on Frisby Ridge.
The big news is it's BIKE FEST TIME!!! We've got a full week of events that kick off Monday with the Townie Town Tour and finish next Sunday with the Revy 50. The big day is Saturday, Sept. 13, where we've got a whole load of events for everyone down in Centenniial Park, culminating in the Dust Punk Disco.
