The Valmorphanizer Returns

We are thrilled to announced the return of THE VALMORPHANIZER!

The Valmorphanizer was thee signature feature on Boulder when it was built by Aaron Clarke some 15 years ago, epitomizing the spirit of freeride in those days. Featuring a narrow, elevated on-ramp, a big step-up, and an even bigger drop, it intimidated all but the best riders.

A few years ago, The Valmorph collapsed, leaving behind a rickety legacy. It was our goal to rebuild it better than before. Last fall, we hired Katlyn Davies and Walker Veitch to get it started, and they continued it as a volunteer project this summer.

The Valmorphanizer is now complete and the finished product blows us away. Located at the bottom of Boondocker, just above the powerlines, the it is a sight to behold. It's a double-black work of art, faithful to the original and a testament to the builders' skills and passion. The remnants of Aaron's build are still there, so you can compare old and new.

Thank you to Katlyn and Walker for their dedication to the project, everyone who helped them along the way, and Aaron for the original vision.

If you can ride it, we hope you enjoy it!
