Trail Report: Friday, August 8

I'll be honest, these weekly trail reports are starting to feel like a bit of a broken record. From the Columbia River to the top of Frisby Ridge, the riding has been consistently fantastic this season thanks to all the rain we've received and the relatively cool temps. It's basically like spring conditions in August, which is a far cry from the mid-summer dust bowl that has been the norm the last few years. For that we are extremely grateful.

Looking ahead, we're in for a hot, sunny weekend, so it should be a great one to hit the trails. There's some more rain predicted mid-week, so hopefully we get a nice dousing of precip to keep the dust down.

We'd like to thank the volunteers and fire crew, who removed many downed trees from our trails while our own crew was off. There's still some minor blow down scattered across our network, so let us know if you spot any. Trail crew gets back to work next week and their focus will be to finish widening the bridges on Flow Down. Once that's done, they'll move on to some other projects, including re-opening Snakes & Ladders on Boulder and getting our trails ready for Bike Fest.

We welcome your trail reports. You can submit leave a comment here, post an update on Trailforks, or send us a message through bikerevelstoke.org/conditions.

Finally, we're hosting the third round of the Tantrum Summer Enduro Series on Boulder this Wednesday, Aug. 13. Stay tuned for details early next week!
